The brief

To provide interim marketing director support whilst the post was vacant, focusing on up-skilling the existing marketing team and supporting on key strategic projects.

My approach

In my role at Imperial College Union, I supporting the Marketing Department to deliver a great Welcome programme. I managed communications through the Union's transformation programme and the launch of their new strategy Back to Basics.

I worked with the team to develop the marketing priorities for the year ahead and wrote the annual operating plan. When the new director was in post, I supported them and ensured they received an effective handover.
